LC Man faces 44 sex charges with juvenile
LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - Justin Ernest Lee of Lake Charles now faces at total of 44 sex charges in Beauregard and Calcasieu Parish for incest with a 14-year-old family member. 30-year-old Lee was arrested last week by Beauregard Parish Sheriff's investigators and charged with 2 counts of aggravated incest after the juvenile confided in a family member. Officials say the incidents happened at a home in Ragley.
After further investigation, investigators say Lee admitted to more sexual encounters with the juvenile at his home off Rushmore Drive in Lake Charles dating back to May of this year. After interviewing both Lee and the victim - they've charged him with 60 additional sex charges in Calcasieu: including 20 counts of aggravated incest, 20 counts of sexual battery, and 2 counts of oral sexual battery.
"He's facing some very serious charges. He as admitted to these allegations and cooperated with the investigation. And this is one of those cases where again it's a senseless act of betrayal on a young person who in my opinion is defenseless," said Calcasieu Parish Sheriff Tony Mancuso.
Sheriff Mancuso says their investigation is ongoing and that they believe the encounters between Lee and the victim date back beyond May.
"There could be more possible victims and there could be more arrests and more charges that occur from this particular investigation. But right now this is all we can release as it pertains to Mr. Lee at this time," said Sheriff Mancuso.
Meanwhile, Lee remains behind bars in the Calcasieu Correctional Center. That's where Mancuso says he'll likely stay due to the severity and number of charges he's facing in Calcasieu. Judge Michael Canaday set his bond at $1,050,000. Calcasieu Parish Sheriff Detective Patty Bailey is the lead investigator in this case.
He should get about 160 years(with time off for good behavior.......
As a famous comedian from Lousiana once quipped, “The definition of a virgin in Louisiana is any girl who can outrun her brother.”................
That’s 104 charges with this one kid and now there could be other children. A public bobbitt-ing on the courthouse square would be a starting point.
Louisiana tried to make it a capital offense, (death penalty) for child rape. Even if that is no longer the case, I believe they take this type of crime more seriously than Vermont, for instance.
Even inmates will not countenance child molestors. This creep has a target on his back. Good riddance.
