It’s called “run the brain down to nil power so I can sleep.”

I ran (well really, I drove) down to Cumby’s to get some smokes and gas up the car. The wind damn near blew me into the Hudson.

I hope you don’t have to go out in it today.

I refuse to justify this with a response!

And fine, thank you.

It’ll probably slow down wind wise when I have to go in to work tonight.

I work third shift, so I tend to miss most of the good stuff.
*grumble grumble*
But, I get to wrangle truck drivers.
If you can do that, you can herd cats!

I do security at a warehouse on Neelytown road in Montgomery.
I always get drivers looking at our truck exit sign, the sign that says “No trucks”, come flying down the driveway, and then ask me if we are one of the other warehouses and by the way they don’t know how ot back up despite me having watched them back up for roughly three hundred yards..
*gaaah!*

2-1/2 cups bisquick baking mix
1/4 cup butter, melted
1-1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, finely grated
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
3/4 cup whole milk
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1/8 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 tsp Old Bay Seasoning (adjust to taste)

1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Combine bisquick with cheddar cheese, milk, 2 tablespoons of butter that has been melted in the microwave, Old Bay seasoning, 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder and onion powder in a medium bowl. Mix until well-combined.

3. Drop approximately 1/4-cup portions of the dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet.

4. Combine 1/4 cup butter with 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, parsley flakes and salt. Brush this mixture over the tops of each unbaked biscuit.

5. Bake for 14 to 16 minutes or until the tops of the biscuits begin to turn light brown. After removing from the oven, brush lightly with butter mixture. Serve warm.

Don’t you wish people would use the “preview” feature when posting a thread?

Don’t you also wish people would use the “search” function when posting a thread?

I do.

You’re welcome. My BIL is on a somewhat restricted diet and he uses lowfat cheese, lowfat milk and a butter substitute, but thinks that they still turn out well. Enjoy!

I always have a problem picking either melted Provalone or American cheese for my steak and cheese subs.
I love them both so it’s a real hard decision.

Also does anybody even make their own meatballs anymore?
It seems every place i go to nowadays uses those nasty frozen meatballs in their subs.
Yuck.

I do.

In fact, I made about 150 of them for Christmas Dinner.

Out of 6 siblings I am the only one able to replicate my late Dad’s recipe to a T.

It is the #1 request when family comes to visit.

Very hard to find nowadays, Home cooking aside.
