Adriana has a complication. It appears she has an obstruction in her intestine, no idea how severe or whether it’s full, partial, what. She is pooping, and is not in any distress whatsoever, so we’re hopeful it can resolve without surgery. They’ve taken her to the nursery for more tests, we should know tonight if she’ll be going to the NICU.

Dear Lord, you are with Adriana and Whitney right now, as you are with all of us. Place your healing hand on Adriana, and restore this sweet little girl to health. Comfort Whitney and help her to know your peace. You are in control. We ask it in Jesus name, Amen.

Ron just called. Adriana is going to surgery now, her intestines are all tangled up. Pray hard.

There is Henderson, Parump(sp), but I guess I would consider Sutherland the equivalent of our Irvine.

I was looking mostly in 89107 for a place with a garage.
I was also looking in 89169 and in patches of 89104.

Pahrump is a good place, but growing faster than Vegas. Parts of Henderson are “depressed” with foreclosures and short sells.

Most newer places have two-car garages. You just have to keep looking. I DO have a realtor, if you would be interested.

Update...

When we got to the hospital, we found that the head surgeon had called the surgery off. He did another xray and the intestines appear to be fine.

They’re going to keep her hooked up to everything, do another xray tonight, then another tomorrow. Hopefully the blockage is something that will resolve itself. She’s sleeping in her little plastic box, tubes and wires everywhere, completely at ease.

The power of prayer is awesome!

Praise God, I’m so happy for all of you! James and Vlad had hormone issues as infants, and had to have blood tests and some other tests, and that was awful for me. I would sing to them during the blood-drawing, and the black Baptist practical nurses would raise their hands and croon, “Amen, little baby!” If one of the babies had to have surgery, it would have been horrible in spades!
