While some would alarm all-around abating a theory, others would alarm it a accurate set of facts. Opinions alter vehemently. Let us accede all-around abating to be both a apriorism that the ambiance of the apple as we apperceive it is slowly, but actual absolutely accretion in all-embracing air and baptize temperature, and a affiance that if whatever is causing this trend is not disconnected or challenged activity on apple will dynamically be affected.

It will.

Cold? It's going up to 9c by Friday.

We will have -9c that day.
Speaking of which, I need to light a fire in the basement....it's getting cold.

Don't worry Bob, I light the fire in a wood stove.

I had one where an evil king was taking over the world and some crooked lawyer had to stop him using his lazy, mostly useless hangers-on (secretary, office janitor, etc.) as an army. One of the hangers-on (kid who emptied chamberpots) found a dragon egg (ooh), but since I based the dragon’s character off of Shannon it was pretty much useless. Still haven’t figured out how it all worked out. They were fighting the evil king’s voodoo wizard right-hand man last I saw.
(yes, the point was mainly to make fun of Eragon and similar ilk.)

Tall order there.
I can help with ideas, but stringing a plot is difficult.
Heck, so far everything I’ve written in the Undead Thread has had some inspiration from other things IN the Undead Thread.
So far I’m working in small chunks on different tales.
And, I’ve been listening to music as I write.

"(yes, the point was mainly to make fun of Eragon and similar ilk.)"

I haven't read Eragon, for the simple reason that I don't want to copy his ideas.

Nor do I want to make fun of anyone other than those who draw dragons with bat-wings stuck on them with no indication of the musculature necessary to operate the wings.

For me, dragons are to be larger than elephants. To fly, they would need some remarkable adaptations. It seemed a small step (to me), to use their fire-breathing ability to explain the miracle of their flight.

We can't fly without chemical assistance, so that's what I gave the dragons. They fly with the aid of organic internal combustion structures.

These serve to get the dragons airborne, where riding the thermals and using their internal fuel stores gets them where they need to go.

And it explains the traditional images of dragons, puny wing muscles and all.

The right side fire bladder should pull down tendons for the left wing, tendons crossing over the breastbone in grooves that are perfect for it, and vice versa for the left side fire bladder.
Keeps with the opposite control symmetry that humans have.
If it is here in us, likely other forms of life would similarly have such?

His ideas are pretty much copied from Dragonriders of Pern (dragon ‘impressing’, etc), but without the firestone and so forth. And they’re magycal.
Mine was a rather stupid one, kind of like having a really dumb dog. Had wings, but didn’t fly much because the rider/maintenance boy is afraid of heights. No magic, because the only person that had any magic was the evil king, and his was more voodoo than anything else. And I don’t think I had it breathing fire, but I may have just forgotten about that point. It was nacho-cheese orange, with black wings. And you had to feed it every four hours or so, else it would get hungry and start munching up the furniture and potted plants in the office.
