If we had that much guts, we would be on the way to restoring Constitutional government.

This is an amazing video, and shows incredible bravery...but lets face it, blowing yourself is also an act of personal bravery, contemptible as the desired results may be.

Actually blowing ones self would be act of incredible gymnastics.

Blowing ones self UP on the other hand is not brave, it is the highest form of cowardice. They blow themselves up in order to get to heaven and reap their rewards. They are insane, not brave. In addition many suicide bombers are drugged or forced into the act and the trigger is controlled by someone safely out of the blast area.

I was going to say something like that. People commit suicide all the time, I’m not sure if I can call that brave, but it certainly takes strong willpower.

Suicide bombing, however, isn’t brave, because unlike the real acts of bravery in the Iran video, a suicide bomber doesn’t have to stand up to a powerful enemy as the freedom fighters are doing in this video. I would define courage and bravery as standing up and fighting for your beliefs, and not giving up even in the face of seemingly insurmountable challenges (like these guards with guns). In contrast a suicide bomber just sneaks stealthily into a crowded area and flicks a switch. No courage necessary.

"George Washington is right now crossing the Rubicon in Iran..."

Er.....AHEM!

George Washington crossed the Delaware. Julius Caesar crossed the Rubicon.

Washington to free the colonies from the British, Caesdar to pursue his dream of dictatorship.
