Here is truly amazing (and graphic) video of a crowd in Sirjan, Iran storming police to prevent the public execution of two people. The video shows the crowd storming the gallows and cutting down the bodies of two men in the process of being hanged. It shows the protesters being shot at by Iranian forces as they tried to get away with the men. The condition of the men cut down from the gallows is not clear. Reports indicate several protesters were killed in the shooting.
Gateway Pundit has much more on the dramatic incident. . . .

Come on now...0 has t times, and the ocean tides stop for no man or messiah. You can’t just change that because Muslims are trying to mass murder our citizens.

You didn’t know what was going on but you knew it applied here? And I can’t imagine the effort it took to find something like that back in 1965.
But, if you say so.

You may very well be right. Islam and Democracy are fundamentally at odds with one another. We may get something that’s worse. However, by helping them, we may encourage something that is better. If left to being spontaneous, no one knows what may happen. If assisted by those that love freedom and can instill freedom into the hearts of the Opposition’s leaders, good things may come of it. Russia in 1917 could have been won by the Whites or the Reds. It could have went either way. Doing little or nothing, is not a solution.

wtc911 is getting me all flustered with his expose on my subversive activities in the 60’s. I’m getting my rants confused, I was thinking about the attempted airline bomber when I wrote this. But the sentiment holds true, even for the Iranian revolution. The tides stop for no man, even when Muslims are fighting each other like hell.

Under most Administrations, the United States used to stand for freedom and liberty. Not under this Quisling. Iran, Honduras, bowing to Saudis and Chinese, giving Chavez a hug and a pinch on the bottom. This is the Thugocracy Administration.

It did not appear that the crowd was able to act in time to save them.

I agree that the potential for change in Iran is worth the cost of the revolution, whatever the eventual outcome. You’re no less dead because the current Iranian gov kills you than if you get killed by the new Iranian gov in 5 years...so here is hoping it is positive and they truly do have a revolution. They’re begging for a Starbucks and 3 different MTVs.
And I agree that doing little or nothing is about the worst thing to do in any situation. And I firmly believe that Islam and Democracy can never co exist. One or the other has to go any time they meet.

I imagine it is heady times for our CIA right now...if 0 hasn’t clamped down on them so hard they’re unable to move.

The religious zealots were trying to overthrow the Shaw. A dictator dragging Iran into the 20th century. No burkas no executions in arenas. That demon Jimmy Carter gave Iran to the Ayatollah Khomeini and he came out of hiding in France to lead Iran....repression ever since....Carter was and is an evil man... Iran was quite westernized at the time.....

From what I recall Iran under the Shah was a different world, still corrupt but not as wacked out as the mullahs and their brainwashed brethren and followers.
