RIP George.
RIP George
The Sports Machine was a late Sunday night ritual in my house for many many years. RIP George...you ruled it.
He is part of one of the funniest video clips out there.
R.I.P George Michael
Good guy, and DC institution. So sad for his family at this time of year. QDEP.
I remember him when he was local in DC.
Impossible to imagine ESPN without the Sports Machine. It redefined sports coverage, although he will never be credited as such. RIP.
Roll tape!
RIP.
He also was a DJ on Musicradio WABC in New York during the 70’s.
He was a good guy RIP
Used to see him on the local news when I lived in the D.C. area. He loved horses. I remember he lived on a big horse ranch out in Maryland somewhere and when the ‘96 blizzard snowed him in, the news station picked him up by helicopter.
Roll VT, Take VT.....
Good old Quad. I learned how to setup and play those noisy rigs up doing legacy conversions to Beta and DVC Pro. I’ve run into both the AVR 2 & 6, high and low band versions.
Wow, I remember him when I was a kid, if there is a sportscaster Hall of Fame he’s sooo in there, RIP
My husband and I used to end the weekend by watching his show! A good guy....never ripped anyone.....RIP fine Sir!
ps....the link was hilarious!
I still have a videotape I made of “plays of the month” and “bloopers of the month” over the years. He was truly a pioneer, and excellent at his job.
