How do I add a signature?

Most have a signature after their screen name in their posts. I can't figure out how to do this and I am not new to forum formats and basic computer skills, but I must admit that FreeRepublic is unique. Can someone please tell me how to do this...

At the bottom of the box where you put your reply, theere is a box for a TAGLINE. Put your “signature” there.
You are right. FR is unique. That is why we call signatures “taglines.”

Some of those are done with HTML, some people use image links.
I don’t bother I just use the tagline. *see below
When you post a reply you can add a tagline.
