Please explain to me why Elin should not get one half of the marital assets?
If TW was a regular Joe with a plumbing business worth $100,000 - no-one would blink an eye at a 50/50 divorce settlement.
TW asked Elin to marry him - & promised to forsake all others etc., etc.,
He lied - and she is dealing with the most destructive betrayal in a marriage - INFIDELITY!!!
As the devastated mother of his two children, she is entitled to compensation. No amount of money will ever be enough to heal the damage he has done to her dignity and sense of trust in another human being.

No he didn’t. He asked her to sign a legal document making it a PROVISIONAL marriage.
