Need help identifying the following snow tracks:
This is the third time I have found some strange animal tracks on my land. I live in western pa, 25 miles from Pittsburgh in the land of murrymom. The area is rural on the edge of suburban development. These tracks I photographed (iPhone) while snow blowing.
The gate is 6 to 8 feet and the single track may be a double paw print. The single track is larger than my hand. The tracks entered my property near a wood pile (breaking a five wire electric fence) and traveled over two hundred feet down my driveway (19 degree grade). The tracks changed direction and followed a set of dear tracks.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You’re supposed to put a ruler next to the footprint like those CSI guys.

I’m with you...it’s a large cat at full run or a coyote.

Yeah. Either that or...my ex MIL, otherwise known as Nanook of the North A.K.A. Sasquatch’s B itch, with your ex MIL on her (it’s?) back!

I had to get the driveway cleared (355 ft - 19 degree grade). Will have cameras up in a couple of weeks. I’m just getting a little paranoid and am looking over my shoulders every few feet. The tracks seemed to be fairly fresh.

The game commission keeps saying we don’t have any, even though they have filmed them with game cameras 40 miles from here. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is a large cat with a tag.

About two weeks ago I went to work here in rural Alaska and in the winter we shut down our concrete batch plant but we had a fire and I was doing some wee early morning work, so its like 3am and we just had a lite dusting of snow maybe 2" and it was pristine, no other tracks or tire marks or anything and I saw the weirdest darn tracks in all of my life and really shook me and got my imagination into overdrive big time. The best way to describe them would be a very large duck print like something from Howard the Duck, they were at least a foot long and appeared of a bi-pedal step with the prints only slightly ahead of each other, not quite a hop where the prints are equal but not from a four footed creature. Whatever it was it walked on two legs, was probably no more than three feet tall and was by the depth not more than 30 pounds maybe lighter. The image here is of actual duck prints in snow, the ones I saw were at least a foot long, same general shape but were not angled in like a duck but parallel like a man walking.
