Boy, it’s hard to believe such a bright, responsible, upstanding young man would meet such a violent, early death.
If a gentleman like Chris Henry dies so young, what chance do the rest of us have?
I’d bet they have their own “Dead Pool” and he’s near the top of everybody’s list.
"In this Aug. 2009 photo, Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chris Henry is pictured at Bengals training camp at Georgetown College in Georgetown, Ky. with his girlfriend Loleini Tonga and their three children. Police say Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chris Henry suffered serious injuries Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009 after falling out of the back of a pickup truck during a domestic dispute with his fiancee Tonga." Hope he had his beneficiaries properly defined. Sad tragic death really.... so stupid and pointless.
You just described the mentality of adults playing a children’s game for filthy lucre!
Hmmm.
Colts RB Fred Lane shot to death by his wife.
Colts CB Nick Harper stabbed in leg by wife results in playoff loss.
Bengals WR Chris Henry left for dead by GF in traffic incident.
Steve Mcnair shot to death by GF.
I’m sure there are others.
Now I’m not saying none of these guys did or didn’t deserve what happened to them but I am beginning to rethink the way I was taught to view women as helpless and vulnerable. This poem comes to mind.

Check this paragraph
The most recent large-scale study of domestic violence was conducted by Harvard researchers and published in the American Journal of Public Health. The study, which surveyed 11,000 men and women, found that, according to both men’s and women’s accounts, 50 percent of the violence in their relationships was reciprocal (involving both parties). In those cases, the women were more likely to have been the first to strike. Moreover, when the violence was one-sided, both women and men said women were the perpetrators about 70 percent of the time.
When they can off NFL players on a regular basis I think it is time to start worrying. Oh crap I have 4 daughters I am doomed.
Sounds like Tiger Woods got off easy, he just ran his car into a tree.
