Hmmm.

Colts RB Fred Lane shot to death by his wife.
Colts CB Nick Harper stabbed in leg by wife results in playoff loss.
Bengals WR Chris Henry left for dead by GF in traffic incident.
Steve Mcnair shot to death by GF.
I’m sure there are others.

Now I’m not saying none of these guys did or didn’t deserve what happened to them but I am beginning to rethink the way I was taught to view women as helpless and vulnerable. This poem comes to mind.

Check this paragraph

The most recent large-scale study of domestic violence was conducted by Harvard researchers and published in the American Journal of Public Health. The study, which surveyed 11,000 men and women, found that, according to both men’s and women’s accounts, 50 percent of the violence in their relationships was reciprocal (involving both parties). In those cases, the women were more likely to have been the first to strike. Moreover, when the violence was one-sided, both women and men said women were the perpetrators about 70 percent of the time.

When they can off NFL players on a regular basis I think it is time to start worrying. Oh crap I have 4 daughters I am doomed.
