SALT LAKE CITY — Utah authorities say they suspect foul play may be involved in the disappearance of a 28-year-old mother.
West Valley City Asst. Police Chief Craig Black says Susan Powell's disappearance is so out of character that it's now a criminal investigation.

This is probably going to be wrapped up in about a week. Poor young woman - in the photos of her - she seems to have such a sweet smile.

Isolate the kids: Ask them about the “camping trip” and if Daddy stopped at the dump to drop off some bags of “garbage” on the way.

I subscribe to the theory that in every liar’s story there are bits of the truth.
i.e. He definitely left the home at midnight with the kids.
He did go into the woods near a public camp site.
He says his wife is “out there somewhere”.

Strange, my grown son was just saying the same thing. He commented it was one thing to be unshaven, but this guy just looked skeevy.
I’d be surprised if this guy didn’t do something to his wife. I mean, who takes toddlers out in the freezing cold at 1 am to go camping? To go bury mommy in the woods, maybe, but camping? I don’t think so.
No kidding. Wonder where he buried her?
he’s missing the goatee with shaved head look, though.
Police have interviewed in the older boy, who I’ve read is nearly 5. Needless to say, they’re not going to be disclosing the results of the interview for a while.
