Senate Amendment Lottery: Guess the Time that the Senate Clerk Finishes Reading Sanders Amendment

Here is a FUn contest. Guess the time that the Senate clerk finishes reading Bernie Sanders' entire 767 page single payer amendment to the health care bill. Whoever guesses closest to the actual time of completion wins.

My own guess is 2:35 A.M. tomorrow morning. What are your guesses as to the time of completion?

Mr. Speaker! I demand that Senator Tolstoy's entire War and Peace amendment be read aloud!

The Senate Republicans should do this on every amendment, and before the final vote.

I would love to have seen the look on Harry Reid’s face when the clerk began reading the Sanders amendment.

What happens if both clerks come down with laryngitis?

Then I would nominate Steven Hawking to become the official Senate Reader. That’ll slow things w a y down.

This would never happen in the House. Nancy Pelosi has to catch a plane tonight for the climate convention. That is why she is trying to get the representatives to vote today on 4 new bills just introduced last night.
Guess these politicians don't care what the average person thinks of them.
