He hurt himself far more by creating this illusion then he would have as a single bachelor. Check LeBron’s earning power. He doesn’t have a clean rep and is doing just fine in endorsements.
Indeed, I wonder if his endorsement power, at least for brands like Nike, would in fact have been HIGHER if he had cultivated an image as a bachelor golf stud, rather than as a boring family man.
