what century are you from? married couples, regardless who who works outside the home have always shared the money. It belongs to both! as does the children, house and anything else purchased or made during a marriage. To say the woman isn’t allowed anything is embarrassingly ignorant of the married state.

You go girl. Tiger supported the Marxist Communist Obama. He deserves to lose everything he's got so he can enjoy the euphoria that communism gives those that endorse it. Elin can give Tiger that good old warm and fuzzy feeling that communism offers.

To globally humiliate the woman like that? She deserves 60% and I am a man. She appears to have been totally innocent and a good wife.

He is a serial adulterer, serial purchaser of the services of prostitutes and possibly a steroid user. It he is a juicer then he is also a cheater. He created this nightmare.

I think she should get a healthy settlement for the reasons you give, but nowhere NEAR 60% or half of such a vast fortune.

The underlying principle that the two spouses contribute equally to the couple's earnings, and therefore should be divided equally in divorce, is unrealistic in the case of one spouse with such vastly disproportionate earning power.

The same principle would apply if the sexes were reversed. If, say, Oprah had married Stedman and cheated on him with a dozen Hollywood celebuffoons, my position would be the same, Stedman should be entitled to a healthy settlement but nowhere NEAR half of Oprah's vast earnings.

Again, what did she do in five years to EARN that money?

I hope that the next revolution in this country is lead by and for men. We need to restore some sanity that has been lost by 40+ years of feminism and leftism.

She can get a job. The child support will cover all living expenses for the kids.

She was a Stay at Home Mom and should be able to stay at home for the kids until they are at least out of grade or HS and that includes her living expenses --I doubt when she got married it was so she could get a job and have kids

Sorry but the laws regarding division of property were no doubt spelled out crystal clear for him before he got married. The rules apply the same for golf stars as they do for businessmen who build their companies and subsequent fortunes. If you don’t like the law, fine. But Tiger deserves no special exception.

If one of the parents is extremly irresponsible, the more responsible parent should have custody of the children and be in complete control over any contact between the children and the irresponsible parent.

I would agree with you if Tiger were "irresponsible" in being a drug addict or a criminal which would threaten the children's well-being. He has proven himself to be pretty "responsible" in providing his family with a lifestyle few in this world have ever experienced. If Elfin had had an affair nobody would be talking about Tiger "controlling any contact between the children and the irresponsible parent"....she would get custody with the full support of the court system and folks like you. Everyday...all across this land females have affairs and take the children away from their father to live with the man they are having an affair with.

If she in fact contracted a disease as a result of his negligence, then she should be able to recover damages from him. Not the same as awarding her half his fortune.

"I’ll bet Tiger can’t tell if that burning sensation is the loss of his wife, family, and half his fortune, or the unfortunate result of not wearing a condom."

Tiger, Tiger burning bright should have kept in his pants all right.

If Tiger didn’t want to lose half, he could have: not gotten married, or just kept it in his pants once he got married.

That is what I am saying — I don’t like the law and I think in general divorce and family law is biased against men, due in large part because the development of the law in this area in the last few decades has been driven by radical feminist judges, legislators and lawyers.

What about the fact that HE broke the marriage vows and exposed his wife to public humiliation andpossible diseases?

I hope she gets it all.

Except that's not the underlying principle. The underlying principle is that both partners contribute equally to the marriage and therefore marital assets should be divided equally.

Also no judge in his right mind is going to try to put a dollar value on birthing legitimate children, they're quite happy to avoid making thankless Solomonic judgements.

If not, then the court must select one of the two parents to have primary physical and legal custody of the children. It's just a matter of legal practicality.

Well now, that's not exactly correct. You see, the Court can order joint physical and legal custody. That was done in my case due to the circumstances. Its not a "winner take all" situation with the kids and the Courts should find ways to keep both parents included in their childern's lives.

You would have thought that Tiger would have learned from his buddy O. J. He found a way to deal with his white, blonde wife. Where is Johnny Cochran when you need him?

Its called pregnancy and labor and life long damage to your body by giving birth to some mans child(which gets HIS name by the way) That is a pretty big “something”. How about sex? giving him a family life? we don’t know what she did. perhaps she did most of the work around the house.

besides what did HE do??? golf???? are you friggin kidding me? thats WORK??? yeah right.

He broke the marriage contract by cheating, so that should nullify any prenup I hope.

Don’t know if that is correct.
