I’ve thought he had what it took to get to the Superbowl back when he played with the Rams.

Kurt is like Brett, writ a bit smaller.

When he is on his game, he is unstoppable and he clearly loves the game and has that required learn-and-move-on memory that great QBs have.

But he tends to drop into tendencies and those tendancies are read by defenses and used against him. That is why he was pick-city the hear after his SB.

I also like the guy and hope does well. But this year, “pretty darn good” isn’t going very deep into the playoffs (as it did year before last).

I was at the Rams-Cardinals game a few weeks ago when Warner left early with a concussion. After ringing up 21 points in the first half, the Cardinals with Leinart in the 2nd half could do nothing.

And maybe they changed their play calling with the lead, but it's clear that the Cardinals are a much different team with Warner at the helm.

Hard to say where he fits in with the others all-time, but he is clearly one of the best of our era.

Was speaking to a former pro player not too long ago about how much faster Pro is vs.College. Kurt makes is look easy compared to Matt.
