Here we go...another year end list.

Bad Livers
Peter Holsapple/Chris Stamey
Buddy Miller (with Robert Plant guesting on several songs)
Okkervil River
Steve Martin and the Stone Canyon Rangers (yes, that Steve Martin)
Marshall Crenshaw
Rosie Flores
Yes, he did. It was a strange combination, not one I’d ever thought of.
If you like Mule, check out Joe Bonamassa if you haven’t aleady. You won’t be dissapointed.
I thought it was funny that the Scientology place right across from that theater is all decked out for Christmas. LOL
Yes, Im in Manhattan and Id love to get in touch the next time youre here!
Every time I’ve passed that place, it looks empty. Nobody ever seems to go in or come out of it.
You're right; I didn't see any activity there. It sure it all lit up, though.
I will definitely send you a FReepmail next time we're headed up for a theater-fix. We usually stay about six days there and do touristy stuff during the day. We usually come during warmer weather, but since I was home, we wanted to see the Christmas things like the tree at Rockefeller Center and some of the store windows. We were shivering, though. :)
They played at the Wente Winery in Livermore, CA.

Who is in Skynyrd these days?
Yes, please do!
As cold as it can get sometimes, there’s still nothing like this place around the holidays. :-D
One of theses days I am gonna make to Ashville for the Xmas Jam.
You must have a similar mind set to recognize that!
Yup! I know of Joe, I don’t have much of his stuff, but he’s damn good!
Theyre more of a Branson crowd, every once in awhile getting crazy at a Kelly Clarkson show.
Good grief...that's so arrogant it literally made me laugh out loud.
That is absolutely true. When we were at Rockefeller Center watching the skaters, the rain turned to snow. We were enchanted.

...It’s not arrogance, it’s my survival instinct kicking in.
I saw one of my favorites, the Pernice Brothers, in Jacksonville with around 20 people in attendance.
You guys get your music on the radio, in elevators, and yes, in Branson.
My preferences are the minority, you’re winning.
Say hi to Josh Groban for me.
Personally, I've never been to Branson, don't listen to Josh Groban or Kelly Clarkson at all and don't listen to commercial radio. Elevators? Uh....yeah. Right.
I will admit to discovering some fun music on Freedom Radio - the Armed Forces Network.
There are over 100,000 FReepers and we all have our own taste. For you to tar everyone with some Branson (isn't that mostly country music?) brush is just assinine.
And it is arrogance.
I love the Pernice Brothers. Never had a chance to see them. Joe Pernice is a real song crafter.

...Sousa marches are kind of fun.
But someone of your oh, so elevated status wouldn't know that.
