None of the installed removal tools worked so I had a clever idea.
Put MalwareBytes on CD and run it off that so the virus couldn’t interfere. I started it in safe mode but when attempting to go further than the initial safe screen was impossible. Then everything went black and hasn’t been bootable since. Well, I can cold boot it but there’s no screen, just blackness.
can you boot to dos? on that website I posted there’s a command in DOS you can use to remove it from the registry.
