I was in Virginia at Thanksgiving visiting Dad (in Deltaville - 'bout 45 minutes south of Tappahannock which is the nearest town that people have actually heard of).

Will be in northern VA next week to be with the whole gang for Christmas - Alexandria and DC.

What part of the state are you in?

LOL - At airport and just ck'd bag. Lady said, "would you like to remove a pound or pay extra charge?" I ask, "how much more?" (already pd $20) She replies, "fifty dollars".

So I removed cross-trainers, put them in carry-on, and set bag back on scale. Good to go.
