Kelly AFB - the old maintenance facility on the south side,

Lackland AFB - the USAF’s recruit training facility

Medina - old nuclear weapons facility

Medical facility/hospital down near Lackland

Five or six old air bases outside of town where the pilot’s trained. Most no civilian fields.

Couple of others I've forgotten.

Not only do I make stuffed grilled jalapenos, I have a special recipe for fried jalapenos... It is how we can tell if someone can handle living in Texas - if they can eat our food.

Stopped by exhibit on way to el mercado. It referred to cannon balls not balls shot from a rifle. If you looked at the exhibit with rifles on top and rifle balls below the plaque you'd agree it was an easily made mistake! LOL

The two gals from Houston didn't know who Sarah Palin is, or so they said.
