This was what I took away from the trailers:
A white militaristic high-technology society wages war against primitive otherwise-peaceful people of color in order to strip-mine their land.
A half-white/half-person of color sent to infiltrate the primitive people of color comes to realize that the people of color are morally superior to white civilization.
And, cue the predictable ending.
Since these Hollyweirdos hate Western civilization so much, why don’t they do without the pillars of Western civilization:
1. Judeo-Christian belief that humans everywhere are all of one blood, and created equal in the sight of God. (A belief not commonly found among primitive tribal societies.)
2. Science and medicine. The next time some Hollyweirdo gets sick, they should treat themselves with trial-and-error roots and berries instead of the products of Western science.
3. Technology and inventions. The Hollyweirdos should turn off the electricity, do without refrigerated food and either walk everywhere or ride horses. And, no more movie-making using Western inventions of cameras and film.
I love how the left now includes Obama and Tim Geithner in their lists of Imperialist Greedy Warmongers!
Schadenfreude, what a delightful chill it sends up my leg! ha ha Ha
And I too, love the little red squiggly line under Obama!
This sounds about as entertaining as Broke Back Mountain.
This has got to be one of the best film reviews I’ve ever read. Interesting to it back to back with Roger Ebert’s (which was gushing with praise of course). Now I’m intrigued to see the movie just for the sake of seeing how wrong Ebert is. Also to cheer on the space Marines and to see how hot the blue chick is.
My grandson saw this movie about four months ago. He said visually is was overwhelming but the story was “lame lame and lame”.

I’m still going to watch it. Blue is my favorite color. And I’m a sucker for big special effects movie. Can’t wait for “Clash of the Titans” to come out.
I watch part of it every time it comes on ... I try to time it so I don't miss Leonardo Dicrappio die a slow, agonizing death.
I am looking forward to the new Sherlock Holmes film. I’ll skip Avatar
Thank the Good Lord if that actually happened. Why would he want to leave Canada, it’s an awesome socialist paradise that has it’s own native folks there he could mukluk around with.
Ya know, they said all that about Dances With Wolves. But Dances With Wolves was a great movie. It DID show why white people feared the Indians; it showed why this was a tragedy. But it was art, not mere propaganda. Real art defies political interpretation, because it showes the complexity of people.
On the other hand, Titanic *was* a montrously boring, steaming stream of bilge water that left me thinking, “James Cameron is a genius. Too bad he’s wasting it on this crap.”
I will wait for it on Bluray.
I thought the same, although I did the same with “The Day After Tomorrow” (or whatever it is called) but ended up watching it on DVD - LMAO btw...;’}
Haven’t watched his crap since he cheated on my home girl, Linda Hamilton.
It comes out here this week. Looking forward to seeing it.
That's a good recommend or no? I really liked Broke Back Mountain. Good movie.
I think might I’ll go see it and just ignore any political subtext underneath it all.
I’m not a big movie go’er, but every few years I might see a spat of them in a few months, and I doubt they’re all ‘FR’ approved, so what?
Why? -Since you hang out here I expect you are a a fellow conservative. Does it not bother you to see such blatant hatred towards our world, our values and our people? (Along with a really preachy and predictabe story.) How can you stomach giving money for propaganda directed against us?
