Another site that has interesting stuff is http://www.findadeath.com. It's run by a gay guy that does tours of Hollywood homes and cemeteries. He has a lot of interesting information about deceased stars. That was where I found out that Jack Cassidy turned down the role of Ted Baxter. There's a great article on Steve Allen, and photos of where a lot of stars lived in their later years.
