I think you are right. However, women can still love him, or somebody like him. Since he died, it may matter little to them if he really liked women.

I mean, he is dead, and only his image is left behind. Image can be an object of attraction.

I highly recommend anyone see “Mishima: A Life in Four Chapters”, Schrader’s take on one of the more enigmatic figures in Japanese history. Ultrarightist proponent of the code of Bushido who was also a Friend of Dorothy. As TLR pointed out, however, he was still, despite his lifestyle, more of a man than 99% of the mama’s boys who call themselves men in Japan.
