I, for one, find the postings fascinating. Can’t wait to see what happens next, although the wife and I are going to see “Gone With The Wind” tonight (they raised the price to 15 cents a ticket, so we only go once to the lightshows once a week). Seriously, for those of us with a sense of history these postings are the cats pajamas. Thank you for putting them in a coherent storyline.
You must have high-level connections with the studio since the Atlanta premier isn't until next week. Are you planning to drop in at Selznick's house for a private screening?
For those of you living in 2009 TCM will air "GWTW" on Tuesday the 19th, the 70th anniversary of the above mentioned premier, and follow it with "The Making of a Legend: Gone Wind" (1988). The whole thing begins at 5:00 PM PST and runs just over six hours. Stock up on popcorn.
