MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell on Wednesday used the very loaded term of "denier" to deride global warming skeptics. Talking to liberal host Rachel Maddow, she referenced Sarah Palin’s opposition to the Copenhagen climate conference and chided, "Her Facebook entry says, you know, ‘Mr. President, boycott Copenhagen.’ How do you rationalize the deniers and the impact that they are having?" "Deniers" is a word that climate skeptics find quite offensive, as many liberals equate not believing in man-made global warming to denying that the Holocaust occurred. (In January of 2007, CBS reporter Scott Pelley famously compared, "If I do an interview with Elie Wiesel, am I required as a journalist to find a Holocaust denier?")
A dismissive Maddow moved beyond dictionary-approved words while insulting Republicans. She asserted that conservatives will either accept reality or respond, "'We don't believe the problem is real' and become a denialist [sic] about it." A denialist?

I didn’t realize that Andrea was a climatologist. Where and when did she obtain this degree that gives her such knowledge?

Since “denier” means “one who denies” and “deny” means “to declare untrue”, I will proudly accept the title of denier as pertaining to Anthropogenic Global Warming!

“Denier,” the new buzz word for libtards who can’t think up original insults. Andrea Mitchell is likely less intelligent than Gore, so we shouldn’t expect better from her.

She probably her climate positions from the same place as the "climate experts"...taxpayer money via the power-RATs.
More the question should be how do you rationlize the people who insist it is science even when t’s based on false data?

What's disappointing is that our side very seldom combats their use effectively. I'm a "denier" in Maddow terms. But I don't deny global warming. I just deny that human activity is responsible for any significant part of a natural process that's been going on since the end of the last Ice Age.
And I most emphatically deny that pettifogging blowhards like Al Gore, the IPCC, the UN, Marxist media dimwits like Mitchell and Maddow, corrupt scientists and "consensus" can do a damned thing about it!
