A Canadian doctor who used a pioneering 'blood-spinning technique to help Tiger Woods recover from his knee surgery will be questioned in court after being charged with three counts of illegally importing and selling drugs.

Barry Bonds was a Hall of Famer before he began taking steroids. He just turned from a fast, base-stealing, able-to-catch-anything, singles hitter...into the best power hitter ever after roids.
Tiger was great before he started cheating with performance enhancing drugs. Barry Bonds was a Hall of Famer before he started with the drugs, the drugs took him from hall of famer to idiot sportswriters calling him the best player in the history of baseball.
Tiger has 14 major titles right now, he might have less without the drugs, he might even have gotten more, but we’ll never know, since he decided to cheat like so many other top athletes.
The Tiger/Drug issues are nothing new. It used to be one of the biggest arguments for Tiger was: “He has so much integrity” “He would never cheat” “Yes, he’s gotten huge but he would never RISK everything” etc., etc., etc.
Anyone with a regime can put on weight, I've put on 30lbs in 8 weeks before, tons of people can do it.
Why did or does tiger need steroids? How would it help his game in the world of Golf?
If pure strength and power were all it takes then the long guys would be champ, but total golf is a skill.
Ted Williams never took steroids. If had not served in WW2 and the Korean War as a fighter pilot - he would have had the home run record. Did Barry Bonds ever bat .406?
You cannot compare his stats to anyone else's because he did everything so well. The totality of Bonds' stats in those 12 years are outrageous.
You are as full of crap as Frantzie.
The PGA is owned by Tiger and his sponsors. The PGA, Golf Channel and all the golf publications are wh*res now.
I have no respect for the PGA.
ditto that.....Tiger HAS been drug tested three times but no one here seems to notice or believe that
Huh, well I guess Jordan took drugs as well?
____________
Did I say Jordan took drugs? That would be a strawman and putting words in my mouth. Don’t do that, that’s what liberals and people who can’t debate do and it’s pathetic.
You cited an obvious drug abuser Holyfield as your “evidence”.
You said “Anyone with a regime can put on weight”, really? what a revelation, I think everyone knows that, did I state otherwise? No.
You put on 30 pounds in 8 weeks? Really? Am I supposed to believe that was all muscle? Michael Moore can put on 30 pound in 8 weeks also.
If you were able to add 30 pounds in 8 weeks of mostly muscle without drugs, I look forward to seeing this revelation in the New England Journal of Medicine shortly.
You said: If pure strength and power were all it takes then the long guys would be champ, but total golf is a skill.
Again, another Strawman, I never said that you’re implying that I did.
By the way, do you know long drive champion Jason Zuback who’s done many TV commercials? He’s a huge juicer and not the only guy juicing on the long drive circuit.
Drugs would allow Tiger to train longer and recover quicker, don’t we always hear how he trains so much longer than other guys all the time? That’s a big part of the Tiger myth, he’s the hardest working guy. No one said he wasn’t a great golfer before he started lifting, he didn’t need the drugs, but he used them, and they are a big advantage. You’re using the same argument that Bonds fanboys said, it’s a skill, it doesn’t help him hit the ball. Yes it does, it helps him hit it farther than he could before the drugs.
The NFL is drug tested all the time, most guys pass all the time.
MLB is tested all the time, most guys pass all the time.
Citing “drug tests” as evidence that guys aren’t using is the PR they would like you to believe.
Players commonly refer to these tests as “IQ Tests” because you have to be an idiot to get caught.
If you believe these drug tests are legit you’re living in a fantasy world. The NFL is riddled with drug cheats, it’s hard to compete if you’re NOT using. Rinky dink high school football programs have tons of kids on drugs.
That’s quite a persuasive argument you make there. You’re in the vast majority that’s ignorant of drugs and the roles they play in sports, and have for decades. To many I was “full of crap” when I was laughing at the bogus home run race between Sosa and McGwire. I was “full of crap” to Yankee fans when I showed them pictures that showed A-Rod’s tell tale signs of juicing before he got caught.
I’ll continue to be “full of crap” and right every time.
Did you know Tiger TESTED HIMSELF TWICE before the PGA tests? To supposedly check if he took any “supplements” that might be on the banned list.
Guys not juicing don’t test themselves, if you’re worried about your supplements you as mega-rich golf star Tiger Woods could tell someone what “supplements” you took and have an expert tell you if any of them could produce a false positive.
The guy hit 2 sets of bushes, a fire hydrant and a tree and the cops can’t get his blood test results. Expect to see a Tiger Woods Wing at that hospital in the future.
Methods are out there, Milo, Crossfit, you can do wonders with hardwork. Give it shot before implying that you can't do something.
If you insist on equating steroids with performance, then Phil Mickelson is on steroids. Do you agree?
If you insist on equating steroids with performance, then Phil Mickelson is on steroids. Do you agree?
__________
Where did I say that? I didn’t.
Are you like the other genius who can only use STRAWMAN arguments and try and put words in my mouth?
Your question is the equivalent of “When did you stop beating your wife”?
LOL, the FIRST THING that comes up in a google search, I should have known you would post that. LOLOL
Sorry, bro. You can’t put on 30 pounds of muscle in 8 weeks without drugs.
Try a little further down on your google search.
On the Supertraining forum, Anthony Pitruzzello, PhD, came up with a potential achievable range of approximately 1.5 to 5 pounds of additional lean muscle per month, after researching scientific studies.
Complicating Factors in Rate of Muscle Growth
The issue is complicated by how muscle is constituted. Muscle comprises protein tissues like muscle fibers and connective tissue but also blood, nerves and water and glycogen — the storage form of carbohydrate, which includes water. Because water and carbohydrate get stored together as glycogen, this can add a considerable amount of weight when a person is fully “loaded.” This tends to pump the muscles and body up a bit. This storage can be lost when the person exercises hard and long or goes on a low-carb diet. It’s easy to see how the advertising people can get cute with this fact when it comes to pronouncing how much muscle can be gained with their product.
The Final Word on Muscle Gains
The final summary of the Supertraining deliberations includes this quote from an expert in the field, Professor Michael Rennie, School of Biomedical Sciences, University of Nottingham:
“I have no data of my own but I would guess that 5 lb per month would be on the high side and 1.5- 2 lb a month is reasonable.”
You shot yourself in the foot at post #42.
Nonsense. I've been working out my entire life. I've gotten results from hard work. Results are possible, within weeks.
I doubt you've spent anytime working out, if you have, then good for you. But, your lack of faith in someone achieving work by hard work, a WOD, pure squats, etc is dubious.
I most certainly did not shoot myself in the foot. I can’t help it if you don’t understand what I’m talking about and if you’re going to try and put words in my mouth and misinterpret what I say it’s your problem not mine.
Frantzie refused to respond. Do you have an answer?
