I never liked Savage, but now I think he stinks. Romney would be even worse than Obama, because he has the same objectives but could commandeer the GOP as well as the Dems. The man is a total statist and a raving liberal even on social matters (pro-gay, pro-abortion). He’s a rich boy who is accustomed to buying his way into everything, and as much as I disliked McCain (and his closest competitor, Huckabee), I was glad at least that Romney hadn’t been able to buy the nomination.

I guess he’s coming back for another go round.

Savage is so vain (you probably think this reply is about you—Carly Simon) that he’d endorse anyone who doesn’t ignore him. Romney should have thought of that last election cycle.

I am no Romney fan but calling him worse than Obama is right wing moonbat behavior. He wold be clearly better on economic issues and understands the private sector far better. He would not trash America all over the world and would not have a bunch of communists in his cabinet or as czars. I DO not want Romney to be the nominee in 2012 but when we call him worse than Obama that becomes moonbat talk. We can’t let the anti Romney emotion (which I share) make us lose all perspective and call him worse than the Kenyan. Both Savage and Romney do not like Palin so it is very likely that they may have met.
