That's good news but is your monitor an old CRT type. If so, it sounds like it's on it's last legs. Maybe Santa will come through (if you've been a good boy this year).

You should still follow the advice of getting an adequate UPS. (battery back up and surge protector).

This $90 investment (plus tax) will save you hundreds later.

Why this one and not the $45 one? THIS one also shields you from surges coming in your internet connection, be it phone or Ethernet.
