I live in Austin and am a Texas fan, "sometimes."

I never was a Mac Brown fan because I don't think he can coach. His employees can though and his scouts are very good but Brown himself, nope.

I watched both games and saw Colt throw away his Heisman chances with those 3 interceptions and can say, without a doubt, the Alabama I saw today can crush Texas and embarrass Brown to the nth degree.

That is why I'm all for this. To be honest, I'm tired of seeing Mac Brown clapping on the sidelines like a seal every time his team screws up, and that is often.

He’s 127-26 at Texas and is on a streak of nine 10 win seasons.
He must do something right.
While Texas has a great advantage, in that a lot of players want to come here, it’s also one of the toughest places to coach. Southern California, Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama, Notre Dame, and Florida all begin each season expecting to be national champions. The fan base, administration and alums will scream for your head if you lose four games in a season. The only way you can insulate yourself a little is to win a national championship. There were still people wanting Brown fired after the Horns went 11-1 and beat Michigan in the Rose Bowl in 2004.
