Sarah apparently rocked the house tonight.
From John King:

From Andrea Mitchell:
At press dinnerPalin "joked" person next to her on plane looked at picture of obama and chinese leader and asked which one is the communist

Thank you, was trying to get a transcript so I can post it here, SHE ROCKED THE HOUSE..these jokes, hilarious..the one about Obama being a Communist..PRICELESS..except she wasn’t joking. Even Andrea Mitchell tweeted that she wasnt sure if it was a joke LOL
She’s got better writers than Leno and Letterman combined!
Another one: “I can see the Russian Embassy from my hotel room...”
Just watch, tomorrow the media will say “Sarah Palin calls Obama a communist” Hey she just calls it as she sees it
“the view is so much better from inside the bus than under it.”.
Yup. Even better is Sarah is driving.
Here’s another one
Palin said she was addressing “leading journalists and intellectuals, or as I put it, a death panel”
She is making one helluva comeback!
What a feisty woman!!
Priceless. I don’t know which one to single out. Maybe this one: “the view is so much better from inside the bus than under it.”.
Found this on C4P..this is from Lynn Sweet, lib hag..
Some of Palin’s lines:
“You betcha. Who talks that way?”
On deciding to speak to the Gridiron Club “Sometimes you just got to trust your instincts. And when you don”t, you end up in places like this.”
“At least now I can put a face to the newspapers I do read.”
“It’s good to be here though, really, in front of this audience of leading journalists and intellectuals, or as I like to call it, a death panel.”
On being on the same program as Frank “And I’m the controversial one?
LOL, very funny.
“Palin jokes book title debate included “the audacity of the north slope.”
That one had me laughing. Good one.
is there video of the speech?
She has to be robotic..or she has energizer batteries in her or something. I would have died of exhaustion by now if I were her. She is amazing and these jokes..WOW..she has to go on Leno, I think she would have a blast. I Never knew she was this funny
Usually CSPAN broadcasts it several weeks later.
The Gridiron Dinner is not televised and no video
Always shut down from visual media
I would have loved to be a fly on the wall when she called Obama a communist..they were probably stunned that someone had the balls to call him what he is
When folks always try to compare Reagan to Palin one of the most overlooked features is that Reagan was close to 70 when he campaigned for the Presidency and I don’t care what kind of shape you’re in, you just can’t compete against someone in their late 40’s as Palin is. This is one advantage she has over Reagan. Of course Reagan had the experience edge-there is no getting around that.
