Why?Women do that to multiple men all the time.and many have for thousands of years. But men? They should cheat with just one at a time? LOL. Some people are not cut out for monogamy.And they don't know it until after they are married. Which is the case here. He will do right by his estranged wife and move on.One thing about him, he has a learning curve. I do not wish him any ill and hope he can move on without too much suffering of all concerned.

It’s equally wrong for women to string along a bunch of men and that situation sometimes ends really badly and/or violently.
Call me a religious zealot or a prude if you wish, but my view is that society functions much more effectively when one man settles down with one woman. This goes double when children are involved.
I’m just not into the “playboy” or “playgirl” persona. It is not moral, nor is it normal to dally with anyone who wears a skirt (or pants). I believe it is a sign of mental or emotional weakness.
