Poor thing. I always think of her as Christie’s daughter, though of course she is the child of both. I bet it was over some stupid guy. Prayers up.

Prayers will be said for her tonight. It can’t be easy having those two for parents. I’m betting she got just about no attention when she was growing up because all the attention has to be on the attention hos in the family.

By the grace of God her roommate found her and got help for her. May her parents comprehend it wasn't just "a stoke of luck" that helped save their daughter's life.
Billy Joel was the opening act for a friend of mine way back in the day. Even before he was rich and famous, he was crabby and disagreeable, even to the headliner musicians for whom he was opening! One would think one would have put on a facade of pleasantness when one is presented with what could be “THE BIG BREAK”! LOL (I know I always DID! )
I can’t imagine growing up with such a person as my Daddy!

Dad Billy tried to commit suicide at 21 y/o; he’s an admitted binge drinker and revolving door rehab customer, it seems to run in the genes.

Exactly what I was posting at the same time. They both suffer from big depression issues.

I just learned a high school friends sons was found dead from an overdose today. He just got out of drug rehab last week. He was 21 years old without any excuses except stupidity. Sad and cruel.
