LOS ANGELES (AP) - The final episode of "Monk" has some heavy lifting to do: Resolve Monk's poisoning and whether he survives, uncover his wife's killer or, just maybe, reveal whether Trudy really is alive after all.
Tony Shalhoub, who inhabited the title character so perfectly for eight seasons that he collected three Emmy Awards, refuses to drop any spoilers and offers only a broad outline of Adrian Monk's fate Friday (9 p.m. EST, USA Network).
The guy who played Stottlemeyer also played a cartoonish bad guy on “Crime Story”. He was very funny.
This is a good show, sorry to see it ending.
You have to see “The Big Night” starring Tony Shaloub. The man is a paisan.
I forgot that. I have the two seasons of crime story on DVD. He was a skinny kid....
Eight years??? I was barely aware of it. (No TV.)
I’m really going to miss this show. Thanks to TiVo I’ve never missed an episode.
All talent, and Shaloob is a gem.
Ping
Every time I see Stottlemyre I think of Buffalo Bill.
I think he was in Silence Of The Lambs as well
I got the first three seasons of Monk as Christmas gifts ovrt the last couple of years.
I really am looking forward to the finale tonight.
The only TV shows today that are well written, well acted, and which actually cater to someone above a sub-moron level are all found on networks like USA, A&E, Scify, TNT, etc. No wonder the major networks are dying.
I was very very happy when Sharona morphed into Natalie. Man she is hot!
Nice!
“I was very very happy when Sharona morphed into Natalie. Man she is hot!”
Traylor has one of the best derrieres in history.
I think he was in silence of the lambs too. He was scary! The first time I watched that movie was by myself, in the dark while everyone else in the house was asleep. I’m surprised *I* was able to sleep after that. First movie ever that scared me that much!! ;-)
Unfortunately, Shalhoub is a big time liberal Demokook.
