There is a nice display in Dallas, TX at North Park Mall every Christmas. While no where near this large, it is very detailed and they always hide all kind of local, timely, references hidden throughout.
We have not gone this year yet, but I bet the new Cowboys Stadium will show up. I also expect the Reunion Arena to be gone (that was demoed recently).
The proceeds go to our local Ronald McDonald House - they say they raise almost half of the total donations to that house each year.
