The continuing revelations of alleged Tiger Woods infidelities has placed the golfing megastar's management team in what one insider called "panic mode" early Wednesday morning.
Despite the release of photographs of Woods looking a bit too friendly with a woman in a Las Vegas nightclub, and a recording allegedly of a phone call Woods made to former "Tool Academy" reality show alum Jaimee Grubbs the Woods source insists "Tiger still believes stonewalling the press on this is the best approach."
Also, don't look for Woods' wife, Elin, to be moving out of the couple's Windermere, FL., mansion anytime soon. The links legend's spouse is reportedly being paid a hefty seven-figure amount immediately transfered into an account she alone controls to stick with her husband.
On top of that, my source indicated Elin Nordegren Woods, the mother of Tiger's two children, has demanded and is getting a total rewrite on the couple's prenuptial agreement making the incentives for her to remain Mrs. Tiger Woods even more enticing.
At this point, the couple needed to remain married for 10 years in order for Woods' wife to collect a splitsville settlement of $20 million. I'm being told that time frame has been shortened and the dollar amount increased "substantially."
Perhaps most important of all, the Woodses have already begun intense marriage counseling at their home with a counselor who has been conducting sessions several times daily.

Tiger may think he’s a private person but truth be told there are few people on this planet who are more publicly known than he is. A celebrity of this caliber attracts world wide attention. It goes with the territory and it is part of the nature of the beast. Tiger’s vastly lucrative endorsements make him even much more of a public figure. I personally have little interest in professional golf and never watch it on television. But I do see Tiger all of the time on TV commercials. He is very much a public celebrity. If you want privacy, then don’t attract attention to yourself. I don’t buy this idea that Tiger is a private person entitled to a private life. He is no more a private person than BHO or Michael Jackson or Arnold Schwartzenneger or Kobe Bryant. Tiger passed himself off with a sqeaky clean image all these years now everyone knows it was all a lie. Based on other examples of this type of behavior exhibited by mega celebrities—Kobe Bryant comes to mind— I think Tiger will make a come back, his golfing career will resume as well as his lucrative endorsements. He may even make more money as result of this people like Oprah will make huge offers to get him on their programs. There will be book deals, payoffs and zillions of dollars to be made in order to satisfy the public’s insatiable desire for scandal and celebrity. Also the fact that Tiger is basically black and most of the women in his life are basically white, there is the added drama of some racial context smoldering not too far below the surface.
LOL
” ‘Intense’ marriage counseling”. Is there any other kind?
If she’s so bloodless why go after him with a golf club?
With the release of the National Enquirer story I’d just call my lawyer and the hairdresser for an all day appointment.
I believe that was former Congressman Joseph P. Kennedy II
When your used to screwing models on piles of money, the home-life could get old fast. It seems it did for Tiger.
Tiger is protecting his image for a hefty amount of mmoney. He might want to let her go, not just because of her, but also for his kids. If she goes, the children go with the wife (as is usually the case.)

Then why get married??? Derek Jeter has the good sense to stay single.
Dr. Phil?
A-Rod helping the Yankees win the World Series probably did it for him.
I've always wondered how the Kennedys could get annulled after a bunch of kids.
Howie is talking about this, but I don’t know if he read this item. He was recalling that Joe Kennedy Sr gave a million dollars to Jackie Kennedy when she was fed up with her husband’s philandering.
Heard on Rush that he was told the initiate prenup was for $20 million if the marriage lasted at least 10 years; and that it is being renegotiated for a shorter period of time and a whole lot more money. Can hardly blame Elin for protecting herself and the children at this point.
My uncle has a favorite saying:
“He who lives in glass houses should not sleep in the raw.”
the guy will never be able to spend all he has.
nobody can do anything to him. worst case scenario is he loses a few endorsements. BFD.
i hope he just shuts up and does whatever he feels like doing.
Never complain, never explain and do not apologize to anybody that doesn’t know him personally.
” when youre worth 1 billion.”
....Rush talked about that the other day...he said that after the taxes you’ll be lucky to net,net 40%....so that takes him back to “only” $400 mil...hope he gets by after that Swedish hell cat gets thru with him.
The only preferential treatment Tiger got was the advice any first tear law school student could have given: Don’t talk to the cops under any circumstances.
Once Tiger talked to his lawyer, even the cops and the prosecutor had to know Tiger or his wife were goiong to ‘decline to talk to the cops’.
Non-Tiger tournaments are getting tired of paying sponsorship fees, knowing that Tiger will never grace their links.
Is there any doubt that Tiger cuts his schedule back next year?
Professional golf is the next "bubble". Without Tiger, the house of cards collapses. The only marketable star besides Tiger is Mickelson. Everyone else is a "who dat?" For example, I appreciate the skill and consistency of Jim Furyk, but nationsl marketability?
Much as I can't stand that family, the Kennedys are far from the only ones who have gotten annulments after a bunch of kids. A friend of our family got one after she was married for 20 years and had three kids. It's basically pay your money at each step of the process and presto chango it's an annulment.
