I've always wondered how the Kennedys could get annulled after a bunch of kids.
Much as I can't stand that family, the Kennedys are far from the only ones who have gotten annulments after a bunch of kids. A friend of our family got one after she was married for 20 years and had three kids. It's basically pay your money at each step of the process and presto chango it's an annulment.

In the Church can annul a Sacrament. Sometimes the Sacrament of Marriage is voided, this has nothing to do with the civil recognition of the marriage. The status of any children never changes as the couple was legally married in the eyes of the State.
