Let me be clear: I don't like Romney. I wouldn't vote for Romney. I hope he never runs for President, and if he tries, I hope he never gets the nomination. In other words -- I don't like Romney!
However, -- I am tired of having to scroll past an anti-Romney ad as the #1 entry on every article lately.
Why does every post start with an anti-Romney ad? As far as I know, he isn't even running for anything right now.
In fact, why should every article begin with an anti-Anyone ad?
I've always considered most Freepers to be very objective and fair-minded.
Has FreeRepublic turned into a one-trick pony? (DestroyRomneyDestroyRomneyDestroyRomney...etc.)
It has become quite tiresome. Could someone please tell me why FreeRepublic is doing this?
Jim Robinson, are you aware that this is happening?
Thank you.
Their gigs are up!
It is necessary to enlighten people who don’t know any better-
so we should be arguing about how long it has been up and not that fact it is up.
Because John McCain is (thankfully) NOT going to be in the running for the republicrat nomination in 2012.
Are you calling Free Republic anti-Mormon, because we refuse to support a liberal Republican from Massachusetts? Please explain yourself.
This is the part of FR I dislike..I believe primaries should be an equal opportunity shoot out. but then I don’t run nothing
You could ask the admin mods or JimRob in a FReepmail.
Might be a better idea than posting a vanity.

You may be correct JAJoe. However, this is the first time I have ever submitted anything, and this is the way I figured out to do it.
If I was supposed to do it another way, I apologize.
Maybe I did something wrong... but I did something.
I don’t understand it either. I don’t have a problem with those responsible for FR putting on their website anyway they want.
But having something thrown in our faces thread after thread...it starts losing its desired impact rather quickly, wouldn’t you say?
Ok, fine. But that doesn’t explain the Romney obsession. Romney is far from being the only RINO in existence.
Like the author of this thread, I too do not like Romney and would not vote for him, but the incessant anti-Romney stuff is getting old, and a bit petty.
Because this is a conservative site. If Romney would just become a democrat the ad wouldn’t be there. Maybe Lindsey Graham could take his place of honor.
You added an extra “m” in the middle!
Need to add HuckaBible to the add.
So? All the Mormons I've known (not a lot, though) have been good, decent people who make wonderful neighbors and great designated drivers. I don't agree with their religious beliefs, but none of them have threatened to cut off my head because of that.
I don’t mind scrolling past, I just wish all RINO’s, would be targeted. A reminder of who the RINO’s are in every state, (Governor’s, Senators, etc,), could do alot of good, for the 2010 races. Even if it’s just a pic of the RINO, and perhaps a link to the voting record?
Yes - The one who accelerated the future bankrupcy of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Indeed. You beat me to it. It’s getting VERY tiresome.
Enough is too much. Quit already.
Yes, but many people see him as the current front-running RINO.
100% agreed.
FR (management) is acting too much like the daily kooks.
This is the reason...per Jim

unixfox, I just read your link. It mentions Rudy McRomney...but I don’t remember seeing any anti-Rudy ads lately.
So perhaps your link is not the complete reason.
