It was just a haircut, not a week at gay camp, you judged the man on his looks and “gay accent” alone, I’ve learned just this year, how faulty that assesment can be. You overreacted. I don’t believe in homophobia either and don’t want gays indoctrinating my children, but you didn’t know for sure he was gay, and he was just cutting your hair.

The “gay accent” thing cracked me up. I used to work at a florist (started as a delivery driver and ended up as manager for a while) and found out quickly that I could sell pretty much anything to the women that came in... if I took on an effeminate affectation and used the word “fabulous” in the conversation. It was hilarious! And when guys came in to get flowers for their ladies, I’d call them “dude” and they’d know it was safe.
Yeah, we shouldn’t judge people by the outward image they put so much effort into projecting; We shouldn’t judge anyone, at all, for any reason, ever.
