Chelsea Clinton, the 29-year old daughter of former President Bill Clinton and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, has become engaged to her longtime boyfriend, investment banker Marc Mezvinsky.
Matt McKenna, a spokesman for the former president, confirmed the engagement Monday. The couple sent an e-mail to friends Friday announcing the news.
Were sorry for the mass email but we wanted to wish everyone a belated Happy Thanksgiving! We also wanted to share that we are engaged! We didn't get married this past summer despite the stories to the contrary, but we are looking toward next summer and hope you all will be there to celebrate with us. Happy Holidays! Chelsea & Marc.

Well ladeeda..our granddaughter is getting married next spring too so we will have to send our regrets..../s
There was a picture of her on Globe Mag and looks like she had “work” done...by the way..how big is the rock?
What do you bet she announces she will resign as SOS and run in 2012 at the wedding!!!
Then WHY does Chelsea walk exactly like her Dad, Bill Clinton?
CAN’T REMEMBER!
I think she is capable of that, but she won’t. She knows she will get press at the wedding, she’ll get more press if she announces it separately. She might announce it before the wedding, so that there is more focus on her during the wedding. Or she could announce it after the wedding, and let people speculate during the wedding.
What do you want to bet the odds are that Mr Mezvinsky suffers Arkancide if he ever mentions divorce?
You notice that these egalitarians never marry proles ?
Best of luck to them. Chelsea seems to have outgrown her awkwardness and looks pretty good.
When is Stedman going to make an honest woman of Oprah?
