I love both of these movies!
I have never seen “Destry.” I should get it by this weekend from Netflix and after reading the review I am looking forward to it. I will check back afterwards.
I watched “Destry” Saturday night and enjoyed it. My only regret is that I missed the line about “gold in them hills” referred to in the review. (I read it as “ear rings” not “earnings.” So I didn’t pay attention when the gold coins went into the cleavage.) From what Nugent writes Stewart already had the nice-guy, easy going image he would hold all his life. I wasn’t sure he had the reputation during his prewar career.
