That was a beautiful game (if I can call it that). Seemed like the Vikings could do no wrong. Picture perfect plays, one after the other. They really made it look easy.

I also had to snicker that they were beating the pants off Obama’s home team, who by the way, looked and performed terribly.

Think how busy you would be if you stopped by each of the 1000s of threads posted here each day that you really didn’t care about and told them ‘who cares’, just to annoy the people that do care about the subject.

Not too bad for a guy who many an “expert” thought should hang ‘em up.

The most crucial, important, and pivotal results are if I won my fantasy football weekend or not. Not how good any team looked.

Back to football, I think it should be no contest that Favre is the MVP because he showed that he’s obviously the missing piece for the Vikings.

I’m not sore. He’s taking the perennial underachievers, my Vikes, farther than I thought possible.

Vikings were already a talented team to begin with. They already had Peterson and Rice to start with. Plus their defense is decent.

All they needed was a Quarterback.

I can't imagine being that busy. I'd have to get paid to irritate Freepers to that extent ... wait ... do ya think?????

Nah..... LOL

LOL. I’m always amazed by people who bother to do these little drive-by hostile remarks on threads and topics they don’t care about.

Folks, if the thread or comment doesn’t interest you then pass it by...... if you have something worthwhile to say on a matter then say it..... but stuff like “who cares?” is merely hostile and annoying, without contributing any insight.

p.s. I’m not a Vikings fan and I don’t exactly *care* how far they go, but I can still respect and admire what Favre and all of this team are putting together for quite a remarkable season to date. :^)

I’ve seen PeeWee players who played better than the Bears did today.

I’ve watched the Vikes every Sunday since 1975. The heartbreaks of 75, 76, 77, and the debacle against the Falcons in 97, etc. Finally, midway thru last season I just stopped watching them, sick of Tarvaris, and Chilly, and the whole mess. Then, they go on an apparent tear this year, I haven’t seen a game yet, and I’m afraid to look, because that’s when the season will crash.
