Mike Lebell, the promoter of the NWA Los Angeles territory during the 1960s and 1970s died this afternoon. He was 79 years old.

Well, it’s nice to see someone in wrestling die at a normal age. Way too many pain killer, muscle relaxer, alcohol combo deaths.

OK...I read the article. This guy was Genes' brother. Gene was widely, and rightfully known, as the most dangerous man in the world for a very long time. And it was not a hype. He kicked Stevie Seagals butt and put him an a closet when he was in his late 60s.
