As you can see here (via TechCrunch) a few people are mad that BestBuys thanksgiving advertisement features a 14-letter phrase (or 15 if you count the hyphen). Whos going to BestBuy this weekend?
Misread the headline ... thought it said Happy IED-al adha
oops
Canada has a day of thanksgiving in October.
OOPS. Looks like Amazon’s getting some more business.
True, but if it weren't for Christianity there would be NO Thanksgiving holiday in the U.S. They weren't exactly thanking Buddha for the blessings there in Plymouth.
Don't call me sunshine, genius. As magellan pointed out the word should have been "exclusively" not "inherently." Changed the whole meaning of the sentence.
Thanksgiving is celebrated in Judaism as well and called Sukkot. Also in Canada...already passed for this year.
I was going to blow this off but went to Best Buy website and looky here:

Happy Conflated Day!
“True, but if it weren’t for Christianity there would be NO Thanksgiving holiday in the U.S. They weren’t exactly thanking Buddha for the blessings there in Plymouth.”
You are correct! It was begun by Christians giving thanks to the Lord.
You know, looking at those “Black Friday” deals in this ad, the prices are about the same as you can get right now from other places for similar items.
How do they celebrate this “holiday”?
Impale a different infidel on a spike and set each one alight for 8 days?
Make little clay grenades for their kids to spin?
I often get large BestBuy gift cards for Christmas. Have told my family I’m boycotting BB from now on.
Don’t want to hear how fair BB plans to be concerning all ‘faiths’ etc. If we don’t take a stand against this death cult now, it will be too late. And I don’t even consider myself that strong a Christian ... but, I certainly consider it a blessing and a privlege to live in a Christian culture.
