Register and post comments on their forum. If all you do is look at the post then nobody will care. If we make comments though someone will notice.

It is time to reclaim Christmas.

Eid al-Adha is a major Muslim holiday that marks the conclusion of the pilgrimage to Mecca, and will be celebrated Nov 26th thru Nov 29th.

Like it or not, many of Best Buy’s customers are Muslim. I don’t have a problem with them recognizing that, as long as they remember Christmas and Hannukah in the same way.

Best Buy has gone downhill the past few years anyhow. Selection sucks and prices are even worse. How I wish we had a Fryes or Microcenter here in Orlando.

Wow! I’m surrounded! There is a Best Buy across one corner of my neighborhood, and a MOSQUE around the other! YIKES!

I think this Eid is the goat Throat Slitting Holiday. Last year it was 250 goats that gave their lives for this bit of holiday cheer.

PETA was not in attendance and could not be reached for comment.

Exactly, I agree with you 100%. If you recognize on particular holiday during the holiday season, you need to recognize them all - including Christmas.

According to the Wikipedia:
‘Eid al-Adha “Festival of Sacrifice” or “Greater Eid” is a holiday celebrated by Muslims (including the Druze) worldwide to commemorate the willingness of Ibrahim to sacrifice his son Ismael as an act of obedience to God.

Eid al-Adha is the latter of two Eid festivals celebrated by Muslims, whose basis comes from the Quran. Like Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha’

Shop Walmart on line.
I ordered a small thing at 11 p.m., I received it the next day via UPS. I was shocked and still can not figure out how I got it in a little over 12 hours.

BB is a Mpls company. Mpls is overrun with ragheads.

I know you and I have discussed this before, but I want others to know you are not kidding. I haven't lived in the city proper for a few years now and have visited it less and less as time goes by.

Today we went to the Mall of America's Nickelodeon Adventure park for my son's birthday. Wow! At least a quarter or more of the ticket takers and ride operators were women in muslim garb. Ditto the clientele and workers in the stores. Women in headscarves at the Macy's and Bloomingdale's cosmetic counter, really?? It was amazing to me how much has changed in five years. We're "fully-stocked" here in the Twin Cities. Thanks bleeding heart, Scandinavian Lutheran social(ist) services.

Disclaimer: I'm Scandinavian and was raised Lutheran until the church left us.

I would rather stick a very private and important part of my anatomy in a meat grinder than to shop at Best Buy.

Interesting they wish a “Happy Eid” and don’t bother with a “Happy Thanksgiving”.

Must be a local thing. Don’t see it in the version that came up with your link for me...

Good info DataDink. As distasteful as it seems, Abraham and Isaac are important to me too in my religion. So, Sandy, I agree with you, as long as they keep Christmas Christian and recognize it as the major holiday that it is, I’ll not hold it against Best Buy.

Sears absolutely stands behind their brands, especially Kenmore. Speaking from experience.

“They’re close to my place in L.A. 2 minutes east is Staples which
beats their prices by at least $10. But I prefer FRY’S which is
popular in Socal. The workers are lazy idiots but as long you know
what you want, the prices are hands down hard to beat.”

Amen.
I liked the Fry’s in Manhattan Beach.
LOVED my two visits to the Fry’s in Burbank (south of Burbank/
Bob Hope Airport).

Wal-Mart is evil because all the things they sell are from China.
Can’t do Sam’s either because they are part of W-M.
Target kept the Salvation Army out.
Costco & Amazon are run by liberals.
Most chain grocery stores are staffed by unionized employees.
Scratch Best Buy of the list now.

The only acceptable FReeper shopping location is the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store (unless you take shots at Catholics).

"Disclaimer: I'm Scandinavian and was raised Lutheran until the church left us."

I'm just curious, what did you do for a church? I'm similarly raised.

There is talk of HHGregg opening a store near me in Fredericksburg, VA. Hopefully they will offer a bit more variety than Best Buy.
