This must be one of the funniest stories I have ever read. Certainly, it accurately represents fact, though the story itself may not be true. I’d guess that it is true.

No abb, I don't recall ever hearing a single peep on this, either. Odd. I'd have thought a gift from a former cold war enemy would've been front page.

Wonder what the motive(s) were/are, aside from the usual shenanigans involved with executing the Sin of Omission as the AP excels.

Something else was behind the silence, lack of coverage and total blackout until now.
Too bad we've no *Journalists* detailed to check that question out. Maybe Pravda or the Canada Free Press can find out? LOL
