The U.S. Army plans to prevent media from covering Sarah Palin's appearance at Fort Bragg, fearing the event will turn into political grandstanding against President Barack Obama, officials said Thursday

Obama and his drones are TERRIFIED that if people see Sarah greeting our troops, they will see that Sarah CARES about our military, meanwhile, Obama thinks taking pictures with the troops is “A great photo op” Funny how the army didn’t take this much precaution against Nidal Malik Hassan, maybe if they had taken care of him, 13 people would still be alive today.
Reality: A number of our brave forces will record the event with cell phones and cameras and will leak it out.
I’ll bet that some private business can set up right outside the gate on private property and have her stop by for a few words about how no press was allowed inside. Huge turnout guaranteed. Leak it and it will shame Obama into letting them in.
Obama and Co. are even more afraid that people will see that the TROOPS care about Sarah Palin.
Maybe the Army should scrutinize the muslims in their ranks instead of trying to muzzle a middle-aged grandma.

I found this, but I am not sure if this is one of the regulations to which he is referring or how it exactly applies to the situation in question.

Participation in political meetings, or rallies, picket lines or public demonstrations
Taking part in partisan or nonpartisan political meetings or rallies, picket lines or any other public meetings or demonstrations may imply Army sanction of the cause for which the demonstration or meeting is conducted. Unless sanctioned by competent authority, Army members are prohibited from taking part as follows:
a. During the hours that are required to be present for duty.
b. When they are in uniform, on a military reservation, or in a foreign country.
c. When their activities constitute a breach of law and order.
d. When violence is reasonably likely to result.
