One of Sen. John Kerry’s daughters was arrested early this morning for driving under the influence, Los Angeles police confirmed.
Alexandra Forbes Kerry was pulled over in Hollywood for a traffic violation and was arrested for DUI at 12:40 a.m., Officer Sara Faden said.
Kerry posted $5,000 bail at 5:20 a.m.
Faden would not confirm Kerry’s blood alcohol level or what substance the senator’s daughter was under the influence of.

Cheney’s daughter is a lesbian — and has stated as much outright. She has a female “life partner” (or whatever), and just publicized the birth of their second child (who knows who the father is).
Though “knocked-up” was probably an inartful choice of words in reference to Palin’s daughter — the fact remains, she was.
Personally, I don’t care for the political “gotcha” game arising from troubles with children or family members. Its stupid when its used against Bush, Cheney or Palin ... and its stupid when its used against Kerry or Gore.

She was QUITE the public figure during the Kerry campaign for President. Rather mouthy and outspoken, as I remember. Wasn't she the one in film school? And then there was the DRESS.

To the contrary, she’s a highly politicized screenwriter, actress, and thought to be an aspiring politician. Wikipedia says “She is currently producing a documentary based on Naomi Wolf’s book The End of America: A Letter of Warning to a Young Patriot.”
Next to elected office-holders (George W., Andrew Cuomo, Al Gore), I can’t think of any “politican’s kids” who did more to make a public figure of herself.
Mentally I would say they are about 18.
