JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) -- A police officer testified Wednesday that a 15-year-old girl told investigators she killed a 9-year-old neighbor because she wanted to know what it felt like to kill someone, and a judge ruled the teen should stand trial as an adult.
Authorities have not publicly identified the suspect, but her attorney referred to her in court Wednesday as Alyssa.
Police testified that Elizabeth Olten did nothing to provoke the attack against her, and that the teenage suspect led authorities to the girl's body after they questioned her.
Asked by juvenile justice attorney Samantha Green whether Alyssa gave a reason for killing the girl, highway patrol Sgt. David Rice replied "ultimately, she stated she wanted to know what it felt like."
The devil is alive and well.
Well... let’s see what it feels like to try her as an adult and fry her!
Just damn.
I don’t ever want to know what it feels like to kill anyone.
That’s one reason I pray nobody breaks into my house because if I’m quicker than they are and I feel like they are going to hurt me or my family I won’t hesitate.
Is it all the crap in the food now or are people just getting more evil?
My sister told me a few years ago that she was convinced that there were people being born who had no soul. I think she was right.
I hope the perp never gets out of prison, and that’s probably what will happen to her. She deserves no better, killing an innocent child who had done nothing to harm her.
The more God is rejected, the more the devil makes his home.
She’s right, and they are all around us, all the time.
One publication has revealed her full name and posted some pics:

She will find out what it’s like to be sentenced to life for murder.
Yep, you’re right. Remove God and guess who that leaves?
I believe that it has always been there. We simply have more and better means of communication these days and, as a consequence, learn of things that we never would have known of in times past.
And too, the fact that these things are so widely publicized propagates evil as well. It gives others ideas.
Evil exists and walks the streets side by side with us. I have no problem with prosecuting a murderer of her age in adult court, nor do I mind if they send her away for life without parole if that’s the jury’s decision. Perhaps she’d reform in a few years (decades?), but I’m not willing to bet the life of another innocent little girl on “perhaps” unless those evaluating all the evidence first hand are comfortable with that choice. .
“she killed a 9-year-old neighbor because she wanted to know what it felt like”
Too many violent video games, too little parenting.
Any bets that the parent is in to horror movies??
Lots more info in that story...
Kid has been a legal ward of THE GRANDMOTHER for half her life, and no mention at all of a FATHER.
Why am I not surpirised by this??
One child lost, another dead. So very sad. Don’t ever let anyone tell you that Satan is a fairy tale.

I thought about that too, that we just have access to much more information and hear about more things like that as a result.
sickening.
