I had one of those. Too bad I didn’t keep it. I do still have my Hot Wheels and GI Joe’s from the ‘60s.

Now here is a trip down memory lane.
How many of these did you send away for? And then wait 12 of the longest weeks in you rlife for delivery. I so badly wanted the Polaris Sub, but at 6.98 which was about a years worth of allowence, it may have just as well been a million. I was big on the toy soldier sets. For less than two dollars you get over 200 hundred soldiers. I had the Civil War set, the Revolution, and WWII. They gave me countless hours of play time.

I very dissapointed when someone decades later posted a photo of a real Polris comic book Sub. I could of had a blast with one of those in my back yard. They were very cool.

Knotts was a hoot back then....free and fun, and the parents would always take us for Mrs. Knotts chiggin dinner.Sure was! Remember the chickens running around in the parking lot? Plus no entrance fee, you just walked into the place. Mrs. Knott's chicken was the best!

As I remember it, Knott’s had to start charging because the dirty hippies started to hang around—causing families to not feel comfortable there.

I had the western style revolver that shot plastic spring propelled bullets. With the 'new' single, round, adhesive caps that you stuck on the base of the shell? Had to finally clean/scrape 'em all off when the cylinder wouldn't advance.

Yep - the dirt one across the street.Until about 1970 or so, they were also running around the main parking lot at the entrance.

Just like a real black powder Colt .45. Really? I've had a cap move a little and jam but no build up. You make your own powder?
